Orbiter cannot register with router.

 I have installed this about 5 times since Thursday, I have tried different versions, different hardware but still end up with the same result. I have read a couple places where it says to disable asterisk in web admin. But, I can't access web admin either. The install goes okay. I am only using one nic at the time. I have used it like this in the past without issue. I physically have 2 nic's but I didn't want to rewire my home network as this system is for someone else. If anyone has any idea's please respond. Thank you

This is why two nic's are recommended.  Applications are having diffculty talking to the core router.  One could check the default routes and disable the firewall.  Check the logs in /var/log and /var/log/pluto.  You can get to a console with CTRL-ALT-F2.  Also check your video drivers.

 I set it up with 2 nic's but, same problem. I have eth0 is my public IP and eth1 is network IP (192.168.80.1). I finally got the web admin working. I turned off asterisk as suggested in another post, still same result. I selected Opengl in webadmin to install latest nvidia drivers. I tried to look at the log but, I don't see what the problem is.

 I am still stuck at this spot with error message "Orbiter cannot register with router" I changed the router I have tried everything I can think of. I tried a different hard drive with new install. I unchecked asterisk and tried with it. I get the same error with the windows orbiter as well. Here is a portion of the log, this is all that is in the log just tons of them.

Did you try ?

#sudo apt-get update
#sudo apt-get upgrade


What is installed, reply with the output ?

# sudo dkms status
# sudo uname -r
# sudo netstat -nr
# sudo dpkg -l \*nvidia\*

You may have to look at several logs, this will list by last modified time.
# ls -latr /var/log
# ls -latr /var/log/pluto

 Did I mention that I get this error on the windows orbiter as well. I have tried almost every possible combination. I even went back and made sure to burn the DVD at 4x. I run the cd check on 0810beta 2 and it comes up with 152 files have errors.I tried to download another .iso and I get the same thing.

Are you running a pure core or hybrid ?

Did you run Diskless_CreateTBZ.sh ?

Check the /var/log/xorg.* logs ?

The issue maybe upstream from your orbiter.

Do you see the DCErouter running ?
#ps auxw | grep -i route

Check resolv.conf and hosts file.

 I am trying to build a hybrid, I did run the Diskless_CreateTBZ.sh and no luck I will try to check the logs and see if there is something that will point to a possible solution. "

The issue maybe upstream from your orbiter

There should be several things running so your there is something wrong with your installation.

You will need to look at a bunch of logs. These commands will list last modified at the bottom of the list.
# ls -latr /var/log
# ls -latr /var/log/pluto

Start with the /var/log/pluto/pluto.log 
Check the installation logs too.
