No video from DVI2 on Zotac 220 - BETA2 (Solved)
« on: December 11, 2009, 08:15:13 pm »
I am not able to get any video out of my dvi2 on a Zotac 220 MD. I have to use a temporary display in the vga port to get to the AVWizard. I then pick DVI2/HDMI 720p 60hz, but nothing shows up on my plasma tv. I can see the boot sequence on it but no X.

*Solved*

I added this line to the xorg.conf device section.

Option "ConnectedMonitor" "DVI-1"

Please give l3me full lspci details on your video chipset and a copy of your xorg.conf...

I'm sure he'll want to tune the detection scripts.
See my User page on the LinuxMCE Wiki for a description of my system configuration (click the little globe under my profile pic).
