Hello,

I'am new in this forum and my real name is Stefan. I'am German.
First a "thank you" to the developer of the 8.10b2. Your did a greate job.   :-*

I will replace my mythtv htpc to a LinuxMCE, in the next weeks.
For the core i had ordered a new system:

   * GEH ATX Midi Rasurbo Basic&Case BC-10, black
   * MB ASRock K10N78 NF8200 AM2+ ATX
   * CPU AMD Athlon II X2 235e 2.70Ghz AM3 2MB 45W BOX
   * DDR2 2x1024MB Kit G.Skill Value PC2-8500 1066MHz CL5
   * GEH Netzteil ATX be quiet! Pure Power L7 350W ATX 2.3
   * DVRA LG GH22NS50 SATA black bulk
   * LogiLink (PC0029A) Gigabit Networkcard (PCI-E)

Today I install then 8.10b2 and it works fine.
After installing the diskless extention for 8.10b2 my Suttle SN68PTG5 work as Media Director well.  8)

Nexed time I plan to put my 2 Hauppauge Nova-S2 HD in to the core
and than I change the mythtv HTPC (MSI K9N2GM-FIH) to a Media Director. (hope it works also)

Regards
Stefan

Are there any issues you're experiencing?

Hello Thom,

i works realy fine.
1. I download the tornet on a VISTA PC and burn the dvd.
2. Install it on the core. I didn't found a option for core only or hybrid. So it is a hybrid now.
3. Install the diskless option runing: /usr/pluto/bin/Diskless_CreateTBZ.sh
4. Change the BIOS Option to boot from lan on my Shuttle.
4.1 The Install-Process use first the standard video output not the DIV/HDMI.
     So I used a Monitor to config the screen-device.
     (I think with the key 1-5 setup option it works also but i have not try this)

In the installation process I saw warnings but i think this normal.
If I have a stable installation i try to make a document obout my experience.
For the German speaking people I will start a blog on www.myandres.de about the ongoing of my project.
