Running 0710.  Have no problem playing other dvd's.  When inserted in the player, get the disk detected splash on the screen, however immediately after that the dvd light goes off and and I'm back to the orbiter.  Any ideas.

return the dvd as broken and get a refund, and make sure to complain to the bbb and your government representatives about how your fair use rights have been violated.
This dvd has new anti-piracy measures that have the side effect of making it unplayable on certain "unapproved" devices such as computers that do not support whatever "authenticity" software that is on the disc. To them you are just collateral damage in the war to save their revenue stream.

Thanks.  Thought so, we can't win for losing in this issue.  These guys just don't seem to understand that by doing this they'll eventually push people away and force them to take other measures.

Its copy protection at work I'm afraid...dont'ya just love it! ;-)

Yes you could return the DVD as suggested above...or if you really want to watch and enjoy it on your system use a Windows/MacOS DVD ripping app and create an iso...then just copy over to your media library.

All the best

Also after ripping to ISO, remove all previews when ripping (delete up to chapter 47 I think). That will make it work.
