MoCA Ethernet Adapter Support

Hey guys, I'd be willing to pay for units & delivery of some MoCA (ethernet over coax) wired & wireless routers if a developer would be interested in getting them interfaced w/ LMCE. I'm looking at the Actiontec HME2200-02K ($150 for a pair on amazon at-present) for wired, and the Actiontec MI424WR (~$50 per pair on eBay for used units w/ Verizon labeling) for 802.11g wireless.

Glanced over some powerline ethernet adapters, but that screams 'nightmare' to me.

Just curious, what support needs to be added to LinuxMCE?  I'm using NetGear's MCAB1001 wired MoCA adapter to extend my network, and it's working great.  However, it's transparent to LinuxMCE, so I don't see what the gap is.

yeah there is no specific support needed in linuxmce, they just have to work in linux itself first.

Yep you're both right, got ahead of myself (happens alot ). I've got two of the wireless routers en route w/ Verizon FiOS firmware on them, & had read that they'd done some proprietary measures with the Linux-based Busybox software. Looks like Actiontec released the source code for several of their routers for those who may need it (http://opensource.actiontec.com/#bhr).
