Hi there,

Welcome!

Well the good news is that the Technisat AirStar2 looks to be fully supported under the 0710 kernel - see here http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/TechniSat_AirStar_2_PCI_/_Air2PC_DVB_PCI

The second piece of good news is that MythTV should be work your card if it is detected...the slightly bad news (and this is only a small thing) is that LinuxMCE does not have a device template for the Technistar so it will not offer to configure it setup in MythTV for you...this means you will need to use MythTVsetup (the native MythTV configuration tool) to configure it as a 'capture' card in MythTV. You could also later decide to create a LinuxMCE device template for the Technisat if its something you'd like to learn how to do.

I would suggest looking here on our Wiki for MythTV setup information inside LinuxMCE http://wiki.linuxmce.com/index.php/MythTV. You will find some url's to the MythTV wiki too on that page.

All the best
