Andrew,
And what about the ZOTAC GIGA ID70-PLUS

http://www.zotac.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_images-SRW.tpl&product_id=414&category_id=75&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=100167&lang=es&vmcchk=1&Itemid=100167

That unit has a NVIDIA GPU (NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 430 w/1GB DDR3) did you have the opportunity to test it?

Thanks
Hernan

Hi again. We haven't tested that unit but it's spec looks to be ok.

All the best

We've added a new demo capability to the help pages that are part of the Dianemo App. Just swipe up to display the Tab bar and touch 'Help' (you need an Internet connection to use the 'Help' tab). Now look for the new 'Dianemo demo' option at the top of the Help page and touch it.

If you don't have a Dianemo S installation yet the new demo feature in the App will I hope be of use to you...and if you do have one it may help you decide what or how to configure your system. We will be expanding the Dianemo demo with more video and more interactivity in the coming weeks and months so it's worth checking it out regularly.

By the way if you have the Dianemo 1.5 App installed then your all set - so give it a try!

A new update is now available that enables you to display your Internet Radio favourites from Logitech Media Server in your Orbiters and select and stream those to any Squeezebox or Squeezeslaves in your system. Your Orbiters will automatically pickup any Favourites you setup in Logitech Media Server or any changes you make subsequently too.

This is a great new feature in Dianemo - something we've all wanted for ages!

See the Dianemo S wiki page to see how to configure and use Internet Radion Presets in your Dianemo S system; http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Dianemo_S#Configuring_Internet_Radio_Services_from_Logitech_MediaServer

Hi again,

Well I've been telling people we'd left the N800/N810 behind long ago and that we wouldn't be updating the Orbiter for it... guess what enough of you said that was not a good idea... and since Uplink has a N810 and we kind of like it we relented (or Uplink did ;-) ) and we've updated and re-built the Nokia N8nn Orbiter packages :-)

We're still just at the tail end of testing the new release and Uplink needs to document the process for installing it on your Nokia devices... but once that's done we're ready to release it. So expect a release sometime over the weekend I would think.

Enjoy!

Does it support the N900 or is that a separate issue? And does the fremantle version of the app support regular LinuxMCE,  as opposed to just Dianemo?

Hi,

We only support the N800/N810 on Diablo so yes it would require a separate build to support the N900/Fremantle (we have never supported that device/OS release).

Phew, I did hang on to one N810, its a great form factor, and decent battery life.

Not sure on the mileage in offering N900 support,  a fantastic device, but struggled with battery life,  so in my view not best suited as a controller around the house.

As Andy said, the build he's bragging about is for N800 and N810 (and possibly N770, but I have no idea) running Diablo (that's what Nokia released last).

Our Orbiter isn't compatible with LinuxMCE, mainly because of things in the `Screen` table and everything that derives from it, so you'd be unable to use the Dianemo N800 binary with LinuxMCE and not want to pull your hair off - true the other way around as well.

But... good news: I'll commit, at some point later, the script and instructions for building a N800 binary that's suitable for LinuxMCE based on LinuxMCE sources. After all, the N800 Orbiter is based on the OSD Orbiter code, with some compile options to make it different.

I'll post here when I've done that. It's not "now" because I'm always busy with stuff - sorry about that. To add to the delay, I just had the idea that people might want to have both the LinuxMCE and Dianemo packages side-by-side, in which case I have to make some more changes.

Sounds a great piece of work.  When you get a spare moment I would be interested in what has changed from old to new N8x0 version,  as I use the old N8x0 version with my Dianemo S system right now, and most functions work just fine.
