Motherboard
« on: August 09, 2009, 11:46:43 pm »
Hey!
I don't know if this is right forum or not, but... I'm going to build a hybrid server and i'm looking for components... I have looked at the silverstone lc20 case, and i find it intresting, but a little bit big... But i have problems with finding all the other components.
So: Does anyone have an idea of a smaler case? and a fitting motherboard with hdmi and optical or coax spdif?

Thanks

I am using the Asus M3N78-EM board for my hybrid. the only additional thing it needs is an extra network card for the second interface. otherwise it is everything on one matx sized board, which you can find very small cases for.

what is UI2B?
I am using the most powerfull 65 watt processor amd made, the 5600+. I believe it is no longer being made though so might be hard to find.
There is no need to use more than 2 gig of ram.

oh yeah, that makes sense.
yes, it will do UI2 blended as well as any other setup, which is to mean it has the same tearing issues. personally i run masked because the tearing bothers me too much.
