Hardware Setup Question
« on: January 23, 2009, 11:36:58 pm »
All of the above devices are working fine But only for DVD Recordings.  I'm planning to redo my LMCE System plus adding the following devices:

Q:Need help wiring the following Devices.. I don't know which Device goes to what... For example does the Cable Box(D11) goes connected to the receiver or to the TV or to the PVR500 input?

Q:How do I get the gyro mouse(M15) to work on the LMCE v710?

The following devices are the one that I don't know how to setup:
-DirectTV Satellite  Service Receiver Model D11
-Gyro Mouse
-Denon 3808 AV Receiver

The gyro mouse is pnp with lmce

The cable box svideo out to pvr 500 in
cable box audio to pvr 500 and reciever if possible use the spdif out to rcvr
if that denon has rs232 hook that to com port or usb to serial adapter.
you may need to build a device template for the denon

Are you planning to add the keyboard F6, F7 & F8 functions to the mouse. I tried but was not success full in following the procedure on the wiki. Really looking for some help there. If you manage to accomplish that could you let me know your trick and if the procedure worked for you ? As seen in my post I probably already have an issue with adding the line in the source.list. I have a Logitech MX AIR mouse.

I found the following page to get all buttons recognised of the Logitec MX AIR. Not workig for me although:
