What are you using to upscale, an AV reciever? Also what are you upscaling to 720 or 1080? I have never watched anything that has been upscaled and didnt know if it was worth the extra money.

Hi,

In this case although we are using Denon amplifiers we are not using their upscaling capability (we hardly ever do in fact). All the MD's in these installations are set to 720p so the upscaling is being carried out by the MD's themselves from standard PAL DVD's. The picture quality is really excellent the the customer in question are really very happy.

In one of the installations mentioned we are using Asus Eee Box's for all the MD's and in the other we are using MD's based on this motherboard http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/ASUS_P5N7A-VM

All the best

Andrew,
What processor and case did you use with that ASUS MB? or is that a trade secret?
