Can I use floorplan on cisco 7970 Orbiter ?
« on: September 02, 2008, 10:53:33 am »
Hi,

I'd swear that floorplan was working some time ago on my cisco 7970 (it's not so polished, cause it refreshes on each click, but you could select devices on floorplan and control them) - bot now floorplan seems not responding....

Can you please confirm, how this works for you ? Is floorplan working feature on Cisco Orbiters ?

Thanks in advance,

regards,

Bulek.

works just fine with me, so long as you have less than 32 distinct areas to click on in a given plan. Regenerate your orbiter if needed.

Hmm, thanks for the tip... The floorplan with more areas doesn't work, while others do... Is this 32 areas limitation of Cisco phone ? If not, any workaround ?

It is a limitation of the firmware on the phone, and can't be worked around... if you think about it, this limit is logical given that there is so little screen real estate.
