Ripping DVD errors

JustDeb - I've had many, many problems ripping DVD's using 0710 RC.  My core was shut down for a month while I was on vacation, when I powered everything up (Core, MD's) I began to get a number of problems that I experienced from the original install of 0710 (system lock ups, crashing, DVD's not copying).  I decided to start from scratch and reinstall.  What I discovered was that one of the "new" disks installed in the system was bad and although I could write data to it intermitantly, it was starting to fail out of the box.  When I removed that disk, reinstalled 0710, tried to copy disks that I had not been able to before, BINGO - they copied with no problem.
