Plays Divx files from the network with Subtitles (.SRT)
« on: June 30, 2008, 09:14:29 am »
Hey guys

i've been chatting for ddamrom and he provided me a lot of tips and recommendations, but there is one that he couldnt answer.

i'm installing linuxmce (had to get a 2nd nic thats why i didnt finish the install) but what i need to know is if the system will let me play DIVX or XVID files through the network (they are stored on a windows xp server) and if they will load with the subtitles (the subs has the same name and are located on the same folder as the video, and the extension is .SRT)

Anyone tried this?, it will work from scratch or do i need to get some updates or apps install?

thanks in advance

The .srt subtitles support was broken in the 0710 release, an update is being worked on.

Hi:
Which will be the way to know that the update was released, because at the moment I am stuck on 710 b4 due to the subtitles.

Tks
