Adding my ZCS101 Zwave controller
« on: June 25, 2008, 02:35:01 am »
Can someone let me know how I go about installing my Zwave controller.  I thought it was Plug and Play, but the setup wizard isn't picking it up. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hmmm... thats the serial interface version. We have only used the USB ACT units and now we use the Seluxit Home Controller which is also USB. As far as I know I dont think the serial Zwave controllers are supported in the Lighting Wizard.

I could have sworn it was used in the Linux Tag expo that took place earlier this month.  Besides,  I was told that HomePro replaced the ZCS000 with the ZCS101.  If what you're saying is true, that would really stink.

we used the Seluxit on the booth. ZCU101/201 support is being worked on. The ZCS101/201 works as verified by domodude. But it is not plug and play as there is no serial detection script for the unit.

best regards,
Hari

EDIT: btw, the ZCS101 is a US variant. the ZCS201 is for EU.

Whew, I was worried that I bought all this gear for nothing.  I'll saw domodude's thread, so I'll follow those directions to the letter and get back with an update on my progress.

Thanks guys.
