LinuxMCE Asterisk IAX Question
« on: June 21, 2008, 01:56:57 pm »
Hi All,

I work for a VoIP provider and am wondering if I will be able to configure LinuxMCE to use IAX as the protocol to register LinuxMCE with my provider.

So, for example, I would have 3 phones registering with LinuxMCE using sip on the local LAN and any/all outgoing/incomming calls would use IAX between the provider and LinuxMCE.

Is this doable, or is it only able to support SIP between the core and VoIP provider gateway?

Thanks
Asgaroth

Yes, it is possible. Look at the scripts for teliax in /usr/pluto/bin to see examples. You can then add the providers in the database.
