Hi all
just a quick question:
according to http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Nintendo_WiiMote you need a bluetooth stick with "SSH". Unfortunately I could not find any with "SSH". Who can give advice on that?
Thanks
cheers

Hi.

Here's a link to an article about SSH.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SSHHowto

The bluetooth dongle doesn't have SSH, OS software does.  Watch your MD screen messages during bootup.

Cheers.

pretty much any bluetooth dongle will do. What the article was saying is that you use SSH to connect to your media director to edit the files needed to make it work. If you have any questions about this, go to the "Setting up a development environment" section of the wiki - down towards the bottom is a section entitled "SSH-ing into a Media Director". This will tell you what you need to do to ssh into the MD so that you can make your changes (be careful though, you can screw things up badly if you are unsure of what you are doing).

Ok, Thanks, I did not realize it was talking about the ssh on the OS, thought there had to be a ssh functin on the stick
