Has anyone tried ASUS P5N-EMH HDMI motherboard?
« on: April 30, 2008, 07:05:39 pm »
I am looking for a new motherboard for a core and media director, I would like to get something with an HDMI port already on, and this one seems very nice, but I dont know if anybody has any experience with it, i will like to know if you can tell me a bit about it.

I'd like to know about this board, also.  You could just go ahead and try it and see what happens, and then let the rest of us know. ;)

One question to the more knowledgeable members of the site:  When looking at particular boards, what are the best resources to look at to see if they are already compatible with similar systems, like MythTV (can you tell I'm a newbie?).  Is there a list of URLs for sites we can do some research at?

I'm also interested in how you get on, specifically with the HDMI port as I'm just in the process of importing an Asrock version of your board that also has an HDMI port on it.

That motherboard SHOULD work fine.  All the specs are right for a hybrid.
The only intuitive interface is the nipple.  After that it's all learned.
My other computer is your windows box.
I'm out of my mind.  Back in 5 minutes.
Q:  What's Red and smells like blue paint?

A:  Red Paint.

Any news on this mobo? Looking to get one as well.
Unlike the P5E-VM HDMI which has the Intel G3500 graphics chipset, I am thinking this will work?

Thanks!
