Telephony features - few gaps in docs and my knowledge...

I'm gathering knowledge about current working telephony features and what is yet missing to be fairly complete (I'll add docs to Wiki), so I'd kindly ask if anyone can contribute their knowledge, experience and tips'n'tricks...

So far, have found one pretty old description of features :

but I already have few questions :

1. it seems that users cannot be dealt with from Freepbx interface (their extensions are not visible there)... What I'd like to do is to set email address for users (it seems empty)...

2. voicemail  -I'm curious about possibilities to check voicemail (either by web-admin, Phone call, email alerts for voicemails, etc...). I guess for phone calls, password is set at same pin as extension number (isn't it better to use pin) ?

3. Can I broadcast to MDs from other SIP client (beside having this option on embedded phones on MDs ) ?
