tv tuner not found

installed latest ver of LinuxMCE 0710 BETA4
it doesnt seem to find my tuner card

my card is a leadtek winfast tv 2000 xp expert

from what i have found out it has a Conexant CX23883 chipset

which is sposed to work in the newer kernels

will i have to compile a new kernel?

Hi!

My pci card wasn't detect either by LinuxMCE's install wizard. The only way to make it work is with mythtv, here is properly detected and works.

You could check if linux loaded any modules for you card.

Try this to find out if the card is being detected:

dmesg

Try this to look for modules loaded

sudo lsmod

is there special setup for myth tv causei am using muth and it says i have no video devices
