Dell Inspiron 530n as Core/Hybrid?
« on: May 21, 2008, 11:01:54 pm »
Dell sells an Inspiron 530n pre-loaded with Ubuntu 7.10 with Nvidia graphics.  See:

Any reason this shouldn't work as a hybrid?

Thanks!

C'mon now.  Someone put in their 2 cents before I spend a bunch on money!  I'm looking at the Dell Precision workstations also.  Any comments?

I probably would. I got one a year ago and returned it once I looked inside. Its well made but essentially custom and not very hospitable to external cards and such. Its quiet. Its much bigger than it looks in the pictures.
