Hello,

In the mists of putting together a system and trying to cut costs.  I have a Geforce 2 video card with dvi out.  Can anyone tell me if this card will produce good quality HD video or am I better off upgrading to something more powerful?

I see the Geforce 4 listed in the compatible hardware, maybe the geforce 2 was just never tested and I'm not sure what the difference between the two are.

Thank you.

You already have the card - what can you lose by tryihg it out. At worst, you'll discover you need to upgrade. At best, you'll discover you don't.

You might want to check what resolution your display supports, then check if the card supports it.
Best Regards,

Thanx for stating the obvious  ;)

Was really wondering if anyone knew the specifics of the two cards.
