Version 0710 release date

Whats the word on the 0710 release anyway? That may just be the fix I need. (just like a junkie!!)

I have searched and its seems its a little hush hush but tentatively planned by the end of November, if someone could post the status that would be sweet.

Does anyone know if version 710 will support the nVidia 7xxx chipset. Asking because I need to base my motherboard decision (whether or not to go with Abit AN-M2 HD board) on this.

The release date of DukeNukem Forever is "When it's done".  Anything else, and we mean  anything else is someone's speculation.  There is no date.  We don't know any date.  If you have a friend who claims they have "inside info", or there's some game news site, or some computer store at the mall who claims they know - they do not.  They are making it up.  There is no date.  Period.

I really think that LInuxMCE's team is doing a great job but and I know it must be boring to receive a lot of questions about the release date BUT
it would have been nice to receive a little more information... We are now the 1st of december while version 7.10 has been announced for end of november.
No problem with this but please, at least you might tell us that it won't be finish in time (via the news...) or if you can predict another date.

I'm saying this because I'm checking for a new version 3 times a day for 10 days now...

Well as ever with software... its running a little late ;-)

But 0710 testing is going well with the latest non-public Beta builds looking very good. VDR is being integrated and that work is a little behind schedule but is progressing (we're providing the integration of this) and then there are numerous fixes/changes/improvements that are being done many of which you can monitor here http://mantis.linuxmce.org/my_view_page.php

Everyone involved is doing their best to get the release out... but we want to make it as complete/stable & bug free as we can ;-)

Hmmm... well it won't be released in a few days for sure. I would say a few weeks is more likely.
