MythTV freezing

It seems I have seen alot of posts relating to MythTV freezing. I too am experiencing MythTV freezing, I read a fix for it is to push pause and not actually watch LIVE TV, this does not seem to work for me, however Myth works flawlessly from the desktop. Is there something I can edit to remedy this or do I just need to wait for version 0710?

bro, this is documented all over the place on this forum alone....

it has to do with the fact that LinuxMCE (Pluto) is the ONLY system out there that uses MythTV's network control port. It uses this port to send status information to the orbiter, and to send commands from the orbiter to MythTV, and there is a race condition present in 0704. danielk has made the appropriate patch, and has sent it both upstream to MythTV and rolled it into LinuxMCE 0710, so it will be part of 0710 soon.
