Importing xvid and other media files to core

Hi all,
I have managed to rip a cd successfully and i am able to play the tracks on both media directors I have installed.
the one thing I haven't managed to do is import xvid and divx videos.
I have copied the files to the samba shares on the core but can't see these files when using any orbitor to play them. any ideas?

Just tried it again and now it works?
