« on: September 14, 2007, 04:33:45 pm »
I've got a Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T-USB2 DVB-T tuner, after copying the correct firmeware in /lib/firmeware the device get correctly recognized by the kernel (according to dmesg output),
but I don't know how I get mythtv/linuxmce frontend to recognize and use this device for tv.

Please, help..

I need help urgently!!!! :-

Just installed kubuntu as a partition on a media centre and all is well - the next step is to install linux mce and be away however!!! I cant install my Hauppage usb2 nova t card. I found a website which explains what to do http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV_Nova-T_USB2 but i have no idea what it is talking about - i installed kubuntu yesterday so pretty new i think it is the feisty fawn edition. Can anyone help - i need some basic instruction!

thanks
