What does the Manage drives do?  When I open it in LinuxMCE under hard discs it says Manage and I press on manage and it does not do anything?

Manage Discs only makes sense in the case of Optical drives, currently. It is used to get the status of all the optical drives in the house that are attached to media directors. This is most useful when you have a supported DVD Jukebox such as the Sony VAIO VGP-XL1B3, or a Powerfile C/R200, so that you can:

* Select which disks to play (an alternative if the disc doesn't show up in the video window because it couldn't be identified)
* Identify loaded disks (so that they can show up in the video window)
* Rip loaded disks to disk storage (so that you can take them out of the jukebox to make room for others)

but again, these things are explained in the Demo Video, please do research before posting to the forums.
