Twonky Media
« on: September 06, 2007, 11:39:05 am »
Hi

Is there anyway I can get medi streamed from my Twonky Media server to Linux MCE.  I know Myth TV support UPnP so I was thinking Linux MCE does.  But After installing it I can't seem to find any options to connect, nor does it seem to connect automatically.

Thanks

Rick

MythTV does supports UPNP, but not the way you're thinking; it does not actually let you see any of the media you add to Twonky. Basically MythTV replaces Twonky, but only the latest versions. I'm not sure if the fixes necessary to get it working again were included in the latest update or not...

ok, so does LinuxMCE allow you to stream music to an xbox 360?  As this is the main thing I use Twonky Media, i don't want to be running two uPNP media servers
