sorry in advance. i know many people have posted problems with their networking setup but so far, i don't seem to have come across any that are in the same position i am. i am trying to set up a basic htpc which will be on my wireless network. originally, i would have liked to use linuxmce as a dhcp server so i could set up other network linuxmce boxes. however, my htpc is currently connected to the internet via a wireless network card and cannot be directly attached to my router or dsl modem. is it possible to get linuxmce's dhcp working with only one wireless nic? if not, how would i go about disabling all of linuxmce's networking settings and just connect to the internet via my wireless nic? as a side note, the network settings page in the admin panel does not seem to detect my wireless network card-only the ethernet built into my motherboard. not sure if this causes more complications. thanks in advance!
