Root password?

Hi
I just installed LinuxMCE 0704 from the DVD, and now I want to compile some drivers. But how do I login as root or poweruser to use the 'sudo' command. In the documentation it is stated that I should have entered the username under the installation, but that is not the case when i installed it from the DVD version.

Fuck
I just found out the it is  user: linuxmce/pass: linuxmce. Please make the installation routine sow that the user have to alter this.
