I'm a noob trying to install the Beta 2 version of Linux MCE. I tried burning a couple of CD's (which I think are good), but I keep getting this message. I accepted all defaults on the install script. The CD drive seems good as I just installed the Ubuntu desktop beforehand. The nework connection seems OK. Is there a way to point the installer to an ISO image on the hard disk? Any other ideas what this problem might be? The log file is below. TIA!

OK, I unmounted all drives, remounted sda and then the installer kicked off. The installer throws up a few error messages (none sounding too serious) then says it has completed (quite quickly....) But when I reboot the application is not there. Any ideas?
