LMCE/MythTV + Firewire
« on: May 14, 2007, 08:17:14 pm »
Hi,

Before installing LMCE, my media center was happily running MythTV and connected to my HD cable box via firewire.  Has anyone tried this with LMCE?  I can't even get in to MythTV to setup the devices (screen goes blank and I cant even get back to the LMCE main menu), so i was hoping someone could give me a hint.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This is a known issue that will hopefully be fixed in the next release.

On the Pluto side the issue is an environmental issue since the required libraries are not on Debian to do the build. Does the 1.1 beta add MythTV firewire support under Kubuntu?
