Dear all,

Is it possible to set attributes to Computing applications added to be handled as media played?.
What is the issue?
I added Google Chrome to the computing applications in order to be able to use NETFLIX.  If I don't move the mouse then the screen saver kicks in and mess everything!, this is worst of course when kids or wife are using Netflix....  Quick solution, I increased the seconds before screensaver on the screen orbiter on webadmin to 3700 so at least If I'm watching a TV show wont kill me on the last minute!
I also installed KODI and giving it a try with the same issues.  Is there a way to do a better fix?
I would like to keep the minutes before screensaver so high otherwise the MD and screen will be left on for too long when unattended.

Cheers,

T

At the moment there is no code-free way to do what you want.

You have three choices:

1) Create a ticket and hope someone will look at it.

2) Look at the code, and see what you can find to modify the behaviour yourself.

3) Create a new media playing device/plugin combo that does this.

The order of the above list is in amount of work for you ascending, and suggest way of getting it done descending ;)
If I helped you, feel free to buy me a coffee: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=2VKASZLTJH7ES
