LMCE 14.04 don't detect my second hard disk

I have recognized similar issues. I can confirm NTFS drives are not beeing detected on my system too.I switched to format from my second HDD to Ext4 and its and then it was detected. Somehow NTFS drives are not detected.Maybe this has something to do with the fact 14.04 can use encryption on harddisk and NTFS is to unsecure.

LMCE detects drives predominantly by UUID.  However I'm not aware of anything in our setup that would detect an NTFS drive at all.  I could be wrong, but don't recall completely at the moment.

Phenigma  didnt you say that 14.4 picks up ntfs as a raid drive by default. I open a ticket regarding this issue which you closed. NTFS drives arw pick up as raid drives. You can mount it mannuly or login kde desktop o  the core to view the drive.

Phenigma the issue was not fixed. I formatted my drive to ntfs and plugged it in and lmce didnt pick it up. I also reply to the topic to say that i could leave the drive a ntfs until was resovled. I have since reformatted ext4. I'll test it later to see if has been fixed. Cheers Gov
