Hi,

I don't get any eth0 ip address listed when I do an ifconfig.

I have reset everything, powered up/down, etc.

eth1 is 192.168.80.1  Bcast: 192.168.80.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
lo is 127.0.0.1 Mask 255.0.0.0

Cheers.

Hi,

I gave eth0 an ip address of 192.168.1.113 but it was never recognized by my DSL Modem/Router.

Running KDE with Firefox web browser would not connect to external sites.

BTW I did swap interfaces (more than once) but no luck.

Naturally there was no internal NAS detection and no way to apt-get either.

Cheers.
