Trying to download 1004 but the Kubuntu link on the wiki doesn't work. 10.04.3 has been superceded by 10.04.4. Can I use 10.04.4 or do I have to get 10.04.3 from old releases?

As a newcomer I want to begin with just Kubuntu installed, at least until I get a second NIC in the machine.

- Is kubuntu-10.04.4-dvd-i386.iso still the one to go for?
- In general are you steering newbies away from 8.04 (can't find 8.10 anyway)?

Thanks a million, Peter.

You should really use our latest DVD. It is a much faster, cleaner, easier experience.

But yeah... you are gonna need to drop the hammer and sacrifice the 7 dollars or so to get a second nic first. :)

There is a new one on its way today you should grab probably.
I never quit... I just ping out.
