Following the guides here:

and here:

http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/ZWave#SUC.2FSIS_Mode_.28recommended.29

I get to the part to add the Tricklestar Remote,  which fails, on the Tricklestar remote I get a RED light.

Have tried several times/reloads.  I made this work in the past,  and remember something odd about the process I had to do - maybe around the timing of the steps.

Sending any commands to the zwave device I get : RESP: Delivery failed

Check the main Z-WAve device , I think I had to set COM port on PC to the correct device to get it to work.

Hi guys

This is correct. You have to select the com port at bottom of the zwave device template.

I found the easiest way was to add the device in web admin before plugging the zwave dongle in. Looking what com ports were there. Then plug the zwave in, do a quick reload router and look again. The com port that has been added is the zwave. In my case this showed ac pci0000:00/0000:00:16.0+3.

Not sure if this is a step that is only needed in Dianemo or if it is same in linuxmce?

Perhaps Andrew could comment on this. If it is not just Dianemo maybe someone could update the wiki.

Another reason you might get this erro is if your inclusion device is too far away from the ZWave interface. I've personally experienced this so always get 'up close n personal' with your Zwave interface.

Another tip... as you include devices always start with the closest device to your ZWave interface first and then include the next closest etc etc. That way the mesh will support your devices properly as you move further and further away from the ZWave interface.

All the best
