to help me make a video. To show at SCALE. Whats this video of? Well, its quite simple really. All I ask is one of two options, or both if your game.

So what is it of? Well, simply put, its about you and LinuxMCE. Make a video of how you use your system or why you use LinuxMCE. Thats it. Simple right. Post it to the ole youTube or I can arrange some other method of transfer and I will compile it into a video which is going to be shown on the MD facing out into the convention floor.

So please, dont make me look like an ass and only have myself. Lol. But seriously, I think it would be a great way to involve the community.

I use it as a router now, and to test. I do not have a filmworthy install.

I don't really have a film worthy install yet, I only have one working MD. I'm going to be putting a rack in my furnace room for my system, but it is just sitting on a little cart right now.  I was just going to do a few minutes on how I'm currently using the system, and a few minutes on my LMCE plans for the new house.  I've got to get a new tape for my dv camcorder, I'll get the film rolling sometime tomorrow.

I will begin a video on my home and LinuxMCE usage this weekend.
I start my Holidays after today, so I will have time to capture many pieces of how I use the system, as well as how it gets used daily by my family, as we are Full-On converted. LinuxMCE is a part of our house.

Cover some media bits, some lighting bits, and some of the cooler media and lighting features of the system.

I will be using one of those digital camcorders, and then I can put them on youtube as well as send you the files directly or put them out on my file server.
Whatever is easiest for you.

I really wish I could come over there and help you, but the $$$ needed to pull it off, are not as easy to come by, this close to Holiday.

Please do not film from hand, try to take a professional approach. Put the camera down, do not use zoom.
If you use zoom, the camera is in the wrong position, or use two takes.
Think about it, write it down.

Actually...lets not do too much pre-directing
I have the ability to stabilize shaky cam shots if needed so i prefer if people are just natural. Its going to be a sort of montage of sorts so feel free to show off you setups, devices, sexy machine rack pron, etc.

Some things i would actually like, if you dont mind.

*Some kinda living room setup with a tablet or phone.
*Some kinda bedroom
*Some form of exterior

Video or photos of the devices you use with the system both.

Otherwise, go crazy

the compiled video will be posted for everyone to see under whatever is the most open license is. Not really sure what that is which is why im being so general, but i just wanted to let everyone know.

Give me a bit, maybe a week to receive the new hardware and some devices and I would gladly make a demo.
