Complete automated backup system
« on: October 04, 2011, 12:59:37 pm »
Hey,

I'm trying to get a kind of backup solution up and running.
Personally i use a lot 'rdiff-backup' to backup things under linux. I put this in different crontabs to backup different folders (home, config, data...).

Now i'm wondering what is backupped with the webinterface in linuxmce.
And how i could do this automaticlly. This way, i can take this into account with my global backups...

Oops, and i toke backups from there, trusted that it was enough when i messed up the server again.  :-[

I'll see then if i can gather all 'important' config files/db to backup...
