Hi,

The company I am working for are going to be getting rid of a few HP T5545 thin clients, was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting these to work? they don't have HDMI but do have DVI so should connect to quite a few monitors/TV's

VIAChrome9 HC3 Integrated Graphics.  Not well supported, and likely to be pretty messy if you want graphics, and almost no chance with HD video.  Not a great choice for Linuxmce.  Unfortunate if you can get the HP's really cheap, as new they're massively inferior to other options. Run, don't walk, to your cheapest Acer Aspire Revo.  They're the real deal and almost perfect as media directors.

THanks guys for all the advice. I have not had another bash at getting LMCE working in my house for a while as have been really busy at work but I will check in again when I get going. Possibly when 8.10 becomes more mainstream or, heaven forbid, 10.10 :P
