As of today, the Tellstick controller is supported by LMCE 8.10, see more at http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Tellstick
It's still basic support, Power On and Power Off are the only commands supported, but on the other hand the installation is Plug'n Play.

I'll appreciate any comments and improvement suggestions.

Whoow, cool. Tellstick could replace ZWave in some simpler installations.

Can you please share any links to web shops that sell european compatible (220V) equipment that works with tellstick.

Thank you very much once more for your contribution!

Cheers,
Valent.

Hi Joakim,

I am running the snapshot 23589 from 8th of January and have done an apt-get dist-upgrade. It looks like the tellstick is not recognized by LMCE. Do i have to do something to get the template or can i add it manually. Do you know the template number.

JoakimL

I suppose an sqlCVS update will download the updates needed. Select the dce group, since all my updates was in that group.
The device template # is 2159.

Most any equipment in the lower price range will work; Nexa, Proove, IKEA, CoCo, Bye bye standby, Elro, Sartano, DIY, Waveman. The local brand may vary.
I tried to add a link, but I'm prohibited by the forum software...

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I have done an SQLCvs update. I have HR24 IP a satellite box as template 2159. Maybe it takes a while until it will be part of the build.

Joakim,

If you commited anonymously to sqlCVS, you need someone to approve the batches before they are available in an sqlCVS update.

It was anonymously. I've searched the forum and wiki but I'm still to find how to get it approved. Who should I contact?

Good news! It's added to the main repository and it's available to download with sqlCVS. It's got a new id, now it's 2263.
Any feedback will be appreciated, I'll try to get some time to add dimmer support soon.

Hi Joakim,
if forum prevented you to post links you can send me links via private message and also add the links in the WIKI.

If you send me links in private message I'll add links to Tellstick WIKI page.

Thank you in advance.
