upgrade from 710 to 810 beta
« on: October 24, 2009, 08:59:44 pm »
Dears,

Is it possible to upgrade from 710 to 810 beta?
My 710 install is on one disk only so I don't want to move all my /home directory before installing 810.

Thanks

You will not be able to upgrade from 710 to 810 beta. You will need to either install via the DVD or do a completely new internet install.

And is a DVD installation will erase all my disk? Or Can I chose the partition on which I want to install?

THanks

the beta dvd install runs the kubuntu installer first so you can choose to partition/format your drives however you want.
