We should use the main site for updates on features, builds, news on LinuxMCE (from the team), etc... We should leave user generated content to the forum and wiki.

Exactly!  That's what I'm talking about...User-generated content should stay in the wiki.

I've spoken to murcel. I agree with wierdbeard65. Having too many places for people to post their experiences with LinuxMCE is spreading it too thin. We already have people posting these type of pages in the wiki. Here is an example:

I totally agree too with that.

At a more prosaic level I still cant even figure out how to login at the 'new' site :-(

I'd also suggest we have site administrators in all different timezones, so that we can provide coverage 24/7... We'll be discussing all of this.
