How to associate ACT Homepro ZTW230 to other ZWave Device

Hi guys,

I'm currently setting up my ZWave network. My network has the following devices

Seluxit viaSens
USB Tricklestar
ACT Homepro ZDW232
ACT Homepro ZRW232
Interact Plugin Dimmer
Interact Plugin Switch

All of these devices are working perfectly (Thanks to hari and SIS mode). Unfortunately my electrican wasn't able to get the ZDW232 to work in 3-way switching mode. So I decided to leave the working Switch (ZDW232) and install a
transmitter only (ZTW230). Does somebody know how I can assign the group to the ZTW230? I know, that I have to include this device first, but waht to do after that? Can I send the association commands via webadmin?

Thanks in advance,
eNoodle

hari

yes, you can use the webadmin. The description is a bit misleading, it was for the old driver. You just have to specify the node id of the switch as target, the group (1 - left paddle, 2 - right paddle) and the node to put into the association group (your "target").

I usually use the remote (a ZTH200 as secondary) to assign associations.

Thank you hari. I'll give it a try... :)

BTW: I received some Express Controls EZmotion. Currently there is no status in the wiki, if this device is working or not. Do you need some Test samples here or some debugging information?

hari

the EZMotion is here on my desk. It works fine as PIR and I already got readouts from the other sensors. It just needs some code to be full plug and play. And i have to come up with some sub-childs for those sensors..
I've also got the Seluxit sensor. Very recommended.

best regards,
Hari

hi hari,

I'm using the following parameter

Set Association
Node ID: 4
Group ID: 1
Nodes List: 7

Where 4 is my transmitting-only switch and 7 is the switch, which should be controlled. The command is sent successfully, however, the association doesn't work. Did I miss something?

Thanks in advance,

update: I've used the Tricklestar for association, now it is working... ;)
