Disabling Bluetooth dongle autodiscovery...

In the wiki there are instructions on how to disable Bluetooth Dongle's autodiscover. I am keen to use this as every bugger that walks past my house seems to have bt enabled on their phone and its driving me nuts! The instructions are:
To prevent LinuxMCE from finding bluetooth devices outside of your home the autodetection (of any BT device) can be turned off as followed: [1]

Login in Web Admin
Go to Advanced -> Configuration -> Devices
Open the CORE/MD where is located your bluetooth device
Open DCERouter and click on Orbiter Plugin
Check the Ignore check box under "Device data".

There are a couple of questions I have - first what does the ignore box actually tell the Orbiter to ignore? It seems a bit general and I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to turn off other events as well. Certainly in the Disk Drive device the ignore events option seems more targetted.

Also, the instruction to go to the DCErouter doesn't seem to tally with the previous instruction to go to the core OR MD that the bt dongle is plugged into....
