Dedicating a dummy "Room" for automation scenarios

As suggested elsewhere I have dedicated a Room to automation scenarios. However, you can only get a few on the top line in the lighting category, and it would be nice to fill more of the page. Is there any way to achieve something which looks like the view you get when you click More, but as a default view for the room? Or any other solution to this problem?

Cheers,

Chris

not sure I understand the question correctly(so I may have missed your point). But if you're looking for a way of changing the orbiter view, then this wiki about creating your own skins may be right for you:
you can change the view of excisting ones as well with more buttons and stuff as I understand it, will have to try myself very shortly, to get a "kids safe" view.

Hi,

just a guess..

Since everything under LMCE is done by commands and events... Try to sniff log what happens (what commands are sent) when you press more button on Orbiter and then try to send same command from some scenario... I guess it will be somekind of Goto Screen command... I guess you will need to change the room which Orbiter is in too....

You can also try sending commands from web-admin when you have certain device displayed, there is a Send Command to this device tick above...

HTH,

Bulek.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Chris,

Thats an interesting idea...

I think you should post this question over in the Developer area. I guess there could be a button in main menu screen that took you to a new screen that was just a grid full of scenarios. That way you could have auto-generated/most useful scenarios on the main screen for fast access with other less used ones in the second screen.

Anyway I'd kick of a thread on this over in the Developer area and get some feedabck/suggestions etc.

All the best

What can be done is, to recycle the other areas as well, i.e. not only Lighting, but Media, Climate etc as well.

Not as nice, but works easily.
