Hi,

i followed the wiki, but i am still running against the same problem:
if i use wminput or wmgui, even with the BADDR defined, i get Socket connect error (interrupt channel)
My BT addapters sees the wiimote if i do a hcitool scan, and the lsmw command gives me the right mack address.

Any ID?

Hi,

Make extra sure that the address provided with HCI scan is the address you programmed as BADDR.

If the resolution is low/small on the terminal window you can easily misread the HCI tool address.

Double/triple check your address.

The wiki works for Core, Core/Hybrid's and MD's.  I've tried them all.

Usually when something didn't work it was a silly error on my part.

Cheers.

ok, i did some more test.

First, on a real system and not in a vm.
Second, with 2 different bluetooth dongles.

What i did find, is that it works, till the orbiter pops up a new bluetooth device found and proposes 3 different devices, one phone and 2 other devices.
The only choice you have here is ignore for now or ignore for ever.
After this screen, the WiiRemote stops working :(

Any id's?

So is this on a real system not a VM?

How many bluetooth devices are connected?

problem in both cases: vm and real system. Same problem

I always connect only 1 bluetooth dongle. If i test the other dongle, i take out the previous and wait a moment for the needed scripts to catch up (dont know if this pause is needed).

I turned off bluetooth of my phone, as i first thought that was the problem, but that didn't change anything. I saw in another thread that i'm not the only one, but there wasn't a solution posted.
