I'm pretty new to all this Pluto home malarkey!!
I have just set up my first server with a PC I had lying around, but for a Media Director could I use a thin client pc? since media director boots from the network, a thin client terminal would make perfect since, my only concern is, will it be fast enough?

Any info will be appreciated

Andy :)

Depends on what you mean by 'thin client terminal'. It needs to have a fairly recent graphics card or on-board graphics if you want to use it as a full MD. Lesser machines are able o run as Orbiters though.

Whats th spec of the 'thin client' you want to use?

i was looking at the compaq evo T30 the specs are
Processor 300 MHz
Flash (ROM) 256 MB
Memory (SDRAM) 256 MB
Operating System Windows XP Embedded
Browser Internet Explorer 6.0
Terminal Personalities Standard
the graphics will be on board and i guess shared memory, no to sure though.

Thanks
