LMCE will not start (initialize_LMdevice:connect failed)

Suddenly when I start my system I get this error message in the Lauch Manager: initialize_LMdevice:connect failed.
Basically LMCE will not start, and goes into an endless waiting loop (the cursor is just a "spinning wheel"). The X background is all black, all I can see is the Launch Manager window. I can open LMCE Web Admin though another computer and also SSH.

I wonder if it has something to do with that I first installed VDR then also Mythtv (). Is this a big messup, and if so, how do I unistall VDR?
Anyone who knows what to do, or at least which logs I should look into?

I am running 0710b4 amd64.
