DVD player and libdvdcss
« on: December 17, 2007, 02:12:18 am »
Ok I feel like a newb here, but I installed LinuxMCE, (Using both the easy DVD, and then I tried the CD's) When I pop in a dvd, xine trys to start but gives me a message saying "It cant play encrypted DVD's, you might not have dvdcss installed."  I have already went to "Add software" in the advanced section, and added "libdvdcss" and I no it was installed correctly, because when i loadup VLC player, the DVD works great, its just xine is used for playing dvd's in MCE.

What should I do  ^_^XXXX

Note: Everything else works great, Audio CD's, even the screen saver when no media is playing.

Havent installed my TV card yet.

Try another DVD, it seems to have trouble with some DVDs.
