[SOLVED] Nvidia 1080p missing from avwizard
« on: November 23, 2007, 04:41:25 pm »
Hi,

I have searched the forum high and low and haven't found a specific answer to this problem.
I have a nvidia 7300GS via DVI going into my Samsung 40" 1080p LCD LA40M81BD (HDMI).  However avwizard only allows me to select up to 720p.
I have tried to manually add support for 1080p but have been unsuccessful.

Can any one help?

I am using whatever nvidia driver LinuxMCE installed

Thanks.

I think it is caused by the avWizard not believing that your screen can handle 1080p for some reason. I would suggest that you mantis the problem http://mantis.linuxmce.org/

Thanks for that,

I have figured out a semi fix, I used this Modeline

ModeLine        "ATSC-1080-60p" 148.5 1920 1960 2016 2200 1080 1082 1088 1125

Just need to crop it a bit but it seems to work :P
Now to figure out my DTS problem.....
